Concrete Tank

Concrete tanks are quite strong and often long lasting. They are generally installed underground for commercial purposes, but can be used for residential use as well. Unfortunately, the introduction of reinforcing steel into concrete has created a new problem that affected the durability of concrete tanks. When embedded reinforced steel can corrode, causing concrete to crack and break. Although still drinkable, lime in concrete tanks will often leak into the water causing a bitter taste.
